Space walk

An exhibition of paintings depicting outer space by 23-year-old Antonella Grima will open to the public next week at Heritage Malta in Valletta.

The exhibition, aptly entitled Beyond, is made up of 25 paintings showing the inter-stellar space, a subject which inspires the young artist.

This is Ms Grima's first personal exhibition after having participated in a number of collectives over the last four years.

She is self-taught and recently qualified in medicine. She says she uses her artistic, therapeutic talents to ease the stress and tension of her professional responsibilities.

The ink and washes artworks will be inaugurated on Saturday at 7 p.m. It will be open to the public as from the following Monday and runs till September 10. The exhibition will be open between 8.30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
