Golden Fields In this acrylic and plaster on wood painting, plaster was first laid down in short brush strokes over the hills and fields, representing the grass being swept by the gentle breeze. The texture of the bark and leaves of the trees and the soft clouds in the sky was produced with plaster. Vibrant colours were used in this painting. Shimmering shades of yellow and gold were used to colour the corn fields whilst vibrant greens were utilised to produce the texture and direction of the foliage on the hills and trees. A pale blue was blended with the white clouds of a serene day. 19" x 14" |
