This painting was produced utilising plaster and acrylic on wood.  An underlay of plaster was placed on the board, producing a three-dimensional texture to the sea and sky. The plaster in the sea region was given an undulated effect, resembling a turbulent sea. Plaster was laid on the sky region and given the form of a cloudy tempestuous sky. Grey, black and white acrylics were blended to create storm clouds. A spectrum of blues, yellows, golds and whites were used to produce rays of sun filtering out of the clouds. Blue and black were intertwined with a gold shimmer to create undulated stormy sea reflecting the filtering rays occasionally. 19" x 14"
